1/26/11 I think that there is other people on the island and first they capture philip and the old black man. Then the get to know the people and the help them get food. They will have to survive on the island. They will do whatever they have to to get off. When they get rescued though they don't want to leave.
2/1/11 Phillip lives in Willemstad, Curacao which is an island in the Caribbean. He is living in the time of World War Two. He has no school because the German's landed their submarines off of Willemstad. He Is told not to go out side but he goes to play with his friend. They got in trouble with a army officer. He went home and got a scolding from his mother. Then the father came home. The mother didn't want Philip to know about it. The father told him about it and the mom got mad at him. The mom and dad fight allot. Philip couldn't go to bed so he went to the tool house and took a hatchet because it was the only thing he could think of to use against the Germans. 2/8/11 Philip does not like Timothy because he thinks he is very strict. Philip thinks it's his mom's fault because Philip wanted to stay in Willemstad but he had to go with his mom to America. 2/9/11
He tells him to because he is blind and if he falls off he will fall into the shark infested waters.
Timothy lights a piece of wood on fire for smoke and waves it in the air.
Philip stands up because he was excited but he is blind so he falls into the shark infested waters.
He thinks that they need food water and is getting sick of being on a little raft.
I would go to the island for a good place to sleep, for fruit instead of biscuits and maybe find a spring with water so i could have as much water as I wanted.

Philip gets a walking stick
So that if he dies philip will know how to survive.
Timothy thinks that Stew cat is a "evil jumbi" and is a curse.
He makes a wood carving of stew cat and nails it.

A rifle shot.
1. he eats a big meal 2. he ties a rope to the palm to hang onto 3. he ties the water keg to the palm tree.
A hurricane.It was fierce winds and high tide.
he puts his body over Philip.
He gets slammed by the waves and dies.
I think he is really worried and sad. He does know how to survive though and is being strong.

I think that philip is going to get off the island. He might not get to getting the signal fire ready. Then he might light anything on fire. There will be a terrible fire. It is his the U.S navy going to fight the Germans. They see the fire and get him just in time. He goes home and his mom is there. His parents say that his mom floated home and think it is a miracle to find Philip. Philip gets his sight back. His mom is liking Willamstad now and wants to stay.
